The Assistant Prosecuting Attorneys (APAs) at the Oakland County Prosecutor’s Office (OCPO) are held to a very high standard. Simply being effective trial lawyers is not enough. Each APA is expected to participate in continuing legal education (CLE) to stay informed and on top of the latest developments in trial advocacy, law enforcement procedures and techniques, as well as the ever changing laws to be applied and followed.
